Despite it's age it still retains the famous Mason& Hamlin sound. A few missing ivories and some with chips/cracks. It is in all original, used condition and is sold'as is, where is' There is some missing veneer around the feet and some small gouges with missing veneer on the sides and other small places. This piano spent most of it's life in a church Sunday school. The copy I have reprinted it from was one of my best junk shop finds and must be very rare so I hope it interest fellow musical instrument enthusiasts. The book is A4 size, which is quite near the original size. The steel engravings are very difficult to scan& so some have reproduced better than others. There is also details and an engraving of a pressure model'Orchestral Organ' with percussion and double expression which was based on, and it seems used parts bought in from) Mustel in Paris, of which very few were ever made.

The catalogue itself runs though all the models available at the time from the'Economy Organ' with one row of reeds at £8 to the three manual and pedal instrument at £300. A list of awards and medals won at international exhibitions from 1867-1885, a list of testimonials from eminent musicians of the day such a Franz Liszt& Johann Strauss etc. The catalogue has a brief history of the Mason& Hamlin company.
